Primitive but with everything you need, good location.
Overall the Wildwood Inn was an excellent place to stay and I would stay here again should I be in the area. The inn is located at a great spot in Twain Hart; within walking distance of local restaurants and cafes. The staff were helpful and got me checked in promptly, and were quickly able to provide me with a printed receipt that I needed for business travel. My room was a good size and was very comfortable. The bed was firm and the sheets and pillows were of adequate quality. The room, sheets, towels, etc all were clean and fresh, as was the shower, sink and toilet. The TV was a bit small, but not enough to be a problem. The Inn was quite besides a few noisy cars/motorcycles, as it is close to the road. A very affordable place to stay, and a well run establishment; if I'm in the area again I'd stay here.
Nice and simple, clean for the most part. They had a mini fridge and a microwave. There was a slight smell, not sure what it could have been, that’s my only complaint. Price was good. Close to small shops and food joints. The town is really pretty. There’s a pool and jacuzzi but apparently it was closed down due to season. I’ll most likely will be back.

Awesome! I had low expectations since it was only $110 a night. I will pleasantly surprised. The bed was so comfortable. Room was toasty warm from the cold. Shower was hot. Larger size TV with great channels. Very friendly staff. Great cabin feel. Nice coffee maker and extra warm blankets. I'll be back.
My employer booked this hotel as I had to work out of town. The receptionist was very helpful in accommadating me after hours. Although the rooms are basic they are very clean and have a coffee maker, microwave, a HD big screen TV and a small fridge. The beds are very comfortable. Located in the heart of Twain Harte, a lovely little town. For the price I feel it's value for your money.
We had a perfect stay at Wildwood Inn. At its price point, it had a comfortable room adequately heated good customer service where they lay out our keys in advance of our arrival, and the room was well appointed, including a Tiffany style lamp hanging from the ceiling. The coffee maker heating and shower workedgreat. Perfect location just 35 minutes from Dodge Ridge ski resort Special shout out to the lady (office manager) who spoke with us on the phone and insured our key was available upon arrival
Just writing this 4 years later - We stayed here August of 2020 and had a wonderful time. The people were great, there are cool little restaurants in walking distance, and there was a farmer's market across the street. Great place to stop in your travels; we were driving to Portland from Las Vegas and happened upon this cute motel. Recommend!
